There appears to be a new sound developing in the hip-hop scene at the moment, known as "trap metal". I only became aware of it after reading a post Random Star Wars fan made on inthe00s yesterday. The genre is basically Trap, however it features heavily distorted synths, guitar samples and loud, aggressive vocals. Here is an example of the new genre:
