At what age did you start to feel like a "grown up" and more of a young adult?
For me personally, I started to feel like more of a young adult a few months after I turned 17. I qualified for my drivers licence a couple of months after my 17th birthday, which meant that not only could I drive by myself for the first time, but I could also go anywhere I wanted to at anytime. I turn 19 next week and honestly, I don't even feel like a teenager anymore.

Whatever age I am I always feel like a grown up but a child at the same time, even when I was like 10 I thought I was a grown up compared to like a 5 year old but even now I still feel like a kid lol.

I guess at 14, when I got my first job. I lived in a big city so in terms of transport I could already go wherever I wanted without my parents, and instead of a car I had a bike. I even took the train/coach to go to cities 25-100km away with my friends. I wasn't allowed to do any of that at 13 so it felt like a huge step up.
Other time would be 17 when I got my first job out of high school, and 23 when I got my first job out of university.

I felt more like a teenager at age 12 when I started watching after myself and no longer required a babysitter. I got my first smartphone and began puberty. As for grown up as in an adult? I still don’t feel that way yet.

I'd say by the time I was 15 or 16 I began to feel more like a young adult and not a kid. I started to practice driving when I was 15 and got my first job at 16. Also, in the state that I live in the age of consent is 16.( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Maybe I was too much for some people to handle

When I turned 20 in 2016, even though I had already done grown up things prior to that, just being 20 felt like wow "I'm no longer a teen". Last year turning 21 was even crazier because now I'm a fully grown man when I was a baby I wasn't even expected to do half the things I'm doing now.
