I've been meaning to create a thread based on this for a while, but I kept on forgetting about it. Sometimes, misinterpretations of speech/messages can be quite humorous. What are some examples of things that you have misheard?
There is currently a promo airing on Channel Nine for David Attenborough's "Blue Planet II". The actual narration in the promo was: "Five thousand dolphins hunting in the sea" This is what I thought the promo said: "Five thousand dollars hunting in the sea".

I literally just misread your post now
Instead of “there is currently a promo airing” I read it as “there is currently a porno airing” 😂
