Ahh good thread idea Part 1: For 2000, any video that features a group of people dancing in a room with blue walls. 2000: For 2001, Shrek. 2001: Basically any Avril Lavigne video is good for 2002. 2002: 2003: You pretty much got it with this one, although this video is pretty 2004 aswell - the Nokia brick is too much : 2004:

I know this one was already listed earlier in this thread, but there is no other artist more blatantly 2002 than Avril Lavigne. She absolutely defined that year's general flavour.

It's interesting to see how our cultural upbringings have influenced our song selections for each year. For instance, for me personally, songs such as "Single Ladies", "Sex on Fire" and "That's Not My Name" epitomise 2008 much more than any crunk or R&B song does.
