2006 is the first year I remember, having been born in 2002. I was 4 towards the end of the year, but idk why I'm really nostalgic for it. I remember a few music of 2006 which include:
Everytime I play these songs back, I think of my 2006 memories. I remember my mom playing "Hips Don't Lie", when my brother pushed me down the stairs whilst we were pretending to play wrestling, and also starting preschool. I remember when Wii came out and my parents took us out to ToyRUs for Christmas, and got me and my brother a Wii. We used to play Wii Sports, Barnyard and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, all the time. We were really hyperactive children. Funnily enough, I don't seem to remember 2007 as much. All my memories of 2007 don't seem to amount to much. The only song I remember of 2007 was "Umbrella" by Rihanna and that's it. 2006 for me is one of my favorite years and I year I would definitely go back too. Is there anyone here that is also nostalgic for 2006?

I was 7 years old in 2006, so I do have a lot of nostalgia for the year. Playing the PS2 and listening to music through my portable CD player (admittedly, I liked Shannon Noll's music at the time ), were some of my favourite hobbies. I went and saw Happy Feet when it was released at the cinemas as well. To me, Steve Irwin's and Peter Brock's tragic deaths will always come to mind when I think of 2006. They passed away in the same week. I'll never forget my Dad picking me up from school and him telling me that Steve Irwin has died. I was 4 towards the end of the year, but idk why I'm really nostalgic for it. I remember a few music of 2006 which include: That's understandable. I have a lot of nostalgia for 2003, when I was 4 years old.

I still have a lot of my drawings from 2006. Here is something I drew back in January 2006:

Had lots of fun in 2006. Dumb anecdote about me: the summer vacation of that year I tried to carry along a plushie dog everywhere I went for some reason despite being a grownass 9 year old.

Christmas 2006 was fun. My dad got the Wii and the PS3 that he played all day during that Christmas break. He was hyped! I remember when my dad played the PS3 in the living room all day. So my mom had to watch me during that Christmas break. Because my dad was so addicted he almost forgot about his own child! I remember coming out of my room in the middle of the night to see my dad playing the Wii in the living room. Alone with the lights off. I don’t remember what he was playing though.

I remember when I used to play the Wii a lot back in 2007 and 2008 with my family in the living room. We used to create our own Mii's, but my sister created mines and made me small as hell. Strangely enough, I don't remember any Christmas I had before 2009.

Nevertheless, the Wii was still pretty huge then. Am I right? Was I late to the party?

I remember the Wii still being quite popular then.

You must have misremembered or have a fake memory. There were no games for the PS3 until maybe 2008. Just kidding Personally, I don't have nostalgia for 2006.

I was watching a home video which contained a few recordings from 2006 and one thing that really stood out for me was how outdated 2006 genuinely is now. It almost feels like another world. Here are a few snapshots which emphasize how outdated 2006 is: Check out how old the TV immediately behind my teacher looks. It may as well be from the 1950s. In contrast, kids in primary/elementary school classes now use iPads and interactive whiteboards. The cars look noticeably older. There were a lot more '90s-model cars still on the road at the time.

Pokemon Chronicles was a show I watched on Miguzi when I was like five. It didn't have Ash in it. Looking back it's pretty cringey, haha.
