I was watching mwalker96 's video and in the video, it was suggested that it would be good if we had a thwead based on nostalgia from when we were 8 years old. Anyway, I liked the idea of it and I thought it would make sense to create a nostalgia thwead based on when we experienced the "peak" of our core childhoods.  What are some of the things that you are nostalgic about from when you were 8? Here are some things from 2007 that I am nostalgic about: * I saw The Simpsons Movie and Transformers at the cinemas. * I received the "What I've Done" EP for my 8th birthday and in October of that year, I saw Linkin Park at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. * These songs, in particular, make me feel vewy nostalgic for 2007: {Spoiler}
Although I wish I experienced my core childhood during the Mid-Late '90s (instead of the Mid-Late 2000s), I must admit, I weally like the fact that I got to experience 2007 at the age I did. Being 8 years old in 2007 was generally quite good, in my opinion.

I remember being 8 in 2004, the memories man. I remember riding a plane the first time, being really good at multiplication, playing icy tower, watching Pokémon advanced on kids wb, playing the GBA sp, getting a GameCube that Christmas. I have so many memoires.

The year I was 8 was one of the best years of my life. There was no great technology (this was the 1960s) but there was no political correctness or nanny state either.

When I was 8 in (2012-early 2013) watched Cartoon Network and Vortexx and also Nickelodeon and having a WII also playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 and a few other Mario games and I also played in a website called Moshi Monsters. I would watch SpongeBob,Amazing World of Gumball and Adventure Time Including Regular Show and also MAD. Christmas of 2012 was awesome!

I remember being 8 in 2004, the memories man. I remember riding a plane the first time, being really good at multiplication, playing icy tower, watching Pokémon advanced on kids wb, playing the GBA sp, getting a GameCube that Christmas. I have so many memoires. Nice. I'm really nostalgic for 2004 as well. Incredible to think that it was 14 years ago! The year I was 8 was one of the best years of my life. There was no great technology (this was the 1960s) but there was no political correctness or nanny state either. I can just imagine. It would have been really good growing up in the '60s. It was brilliant, Shark. I had the privilege of growing up in 2 countries (Ireland and England). It was a fun, innocent time.

I was 8 in 2012. That was back when everyone was playing angry birds and freaking out over the Mayan calendar which was supposedly the end of the world. Truly hilarious to see people overreact over a date on a Mayan Calendar. This is why nobody under 13 should watch scary movies.

I was 8 in 2001. I was into Pokémon, Digimon, Nintendo 64, Gameboy Color, Spongebob and later in the year, Yugioh.

Seeing as we share/shared common interests while growing up, I’m pretty similar to this. Although, probably minus Spongebob and Yugioh as they never held my interest really.  Definitely Pokémon, Nintendo, South Park (various other cartoons ect). The mid-late 90s to early 00s was da bomb!

While 2005-2010 wasn't terrible, it wasnt the best either . I agree! 1998-2003 would have been a great mix of Late '90s, Y2K and Early 2000s culture.
