I thought this might be an interesting idea for a topic. Have you ever made predictions in the past which turned out to be partially (or completely) true? Here's a prediction I made back in August 2016: In February, it was reported that American's usage of Facebook had declined by 5%. Now that there is a growing backlash against the site, it's possible that the overall usage of Facebook will continue to decline.

Back in September 2015 I made some 'what if...?' mocks of Nine adding dots to their multichannels: and what do you know, 2 months later Nine did introduce them...

i made a prediction back in August 2015 that Super Mario Galaxy 3 would come out on the Wii U but Super Mario Odyssey came out 2 years later on the Switch.

Though it sounds a little morbid, here was a prediction I made in around late 2016:
"A school shooting that is probably bigger than Columbine will take place very soon"
And I was right, unfortunately.

Though it sounds a little morbid, here was a prediction I made in around late 2016: "A school shooting that is probably bigger than Columbine will take place very soon" And I was right, unfortunately. I kind of had a prediction around November 2017 and this was when famous male celebrities were being accused of sexual harrassment and i kind of predicted that Matt Lauer would get fired from the Today Show for sexual harrassment or allegations i didnt really predict it but i was thinking what if would happen to him.

Yeah i vowed not to make anymore school shooting jokes after that. My friend told me that she was singing a school shooting song the same day before it happened.

I actually remember when I was in second grade and I had a dream about third grade, thinking that it was going to be hard and that I'd have a lot more work and homework to do.
Now, that dream was just hilariously wrong. :D

I didn't talk about these publically online at the time but among many Australian media-related predictions (some of which didn't come true or only came half true) for last year that I made at the very end of 2016, one that actually did happen was SBS making an Australian FTA TV first by broadcasting not one, but two channels in MPEG4 HD on the same multiplex.
For what it's worth, SBS VICELAND HD started broadcasting on April 8, 2017 with SBS HD (previously an MPEG2 HD channel) switching to MPEG4 HD at the same time.

I thought we’d have flying cars by 2012 in 2008. 6 years later, we don’t even have self driving cars. 😭 In early 2007 we had to do a presentation on what technologies we thought would be popular by 2012 for my IT class. I predicted we would have hydrogen powered cars by 2012. Also, in that same presentation I predicted PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants like the Palm) would replace regular cellphones 😂 I consider that more embarrassing than my hydrogen car prediction, probably because it was a severe under-prediction than an over-prediction.
