As the title suggests, how did you become interested in sport and at what age did you start to become interested in it?
My interest in sport can be traced back to when I was 5, the year I started to follow a sports team for the first time (the South Sydney Rabbitohs). I was in-directly socialised into following rugby league. Because rugby league is the dominant sports code in the state of New South Wales, it receives extensive coverage in the media and strong word of mouth.
I only started to become interested in Football (soccer) back in 2013. My Dad has always been a big Football fan (he supports Liverpool FC), so I have always followed it in some form. However, it wasn't until the success of the Western Sydney Wanderers, that my interest in the sport really started to develop. With that said, I still don't support a Football team.

When and why did you change from the Rabbitohs to Roosters?
I was probably 8 or 9, my Nanna used to take me to local football. Sport is usually all I watch on tele these days.

I've never followed the Roosters. The reason why I changed from Rabbitohs to the West Tigers, is because the Wests Tigers won the 2005 NRL Grand Final and as a result, I thought they were a better team. I've followed the Sharks for ten years now.

Everyone on my dads side of my family loves baseball so I pretty much spent all of my childhood going to baseball games or watching it on tv. By the time I was 5 or 6 I actually started playing T-ball and later on softball. I would play for my elementary school's team until I was about 9 years old. I sometimes wish I didn't quit.

My question remains, why did you start following the Sharks? Their team back in 2008 was really good and I like the colour of the club's jerseys, so I decided to follow them and I have ever since. Plus, they are the second geographically closest team to where I live.

After watching both the losing Grand Finals of 2002 and 2003 I felt really sorry for them and started following.... Nah, I’m not really sure to be honest. And no, it has absolutely nothing to do with the President!
