How a member discovered a bunch of mentions of him on another forum 13 years late.

I was being coy for a reason. Your pretend husband? How much did you see of his profile?

You said he was British, so I assumed he was British. He does look Eastern European though. I would have never guessed something like Italian. He looks the most like my friend's sketch of a stereotypical German, doesn't he? At least the first half of his face, the second half is more like the sketch of a Brit.

Yeah, I read it. Idk why you're so worried lol. Just trying to brace myself for my next potential Love Doesn't Have to Hurt and 7 Things marathon. BTW, the previous song just randomly reminded me of this : i.imgur.com/mQ9dW4o.png

What would you say would be the most average (or "ordinary", as I would normally say ) suburbs in terms of livability and general appeal in the Greater Toronto Area?

What would you say would be the most average (or "ordinary", as I would normally say ) suburbs in terms of livability and general appeal in the Greater Toronto Area? Scarborough - it's a big place so it's difficult to generalize. There are nice parts and not-so-nice parts, but the not-so-nice parts give Scarborough its entire reputation. The city is ultra-suburban and not much goes on there. It's very racially diverse but not in a good way: it's very segregated and you can find the worst poverty of Toronto there along with some really rough areas. It also has the dumbest politics. they elect populists because they feel disrespected but only invite more disrespect for themselves with how dumb the politicians they support are. Its nickname is "Scarberia" for just how big and isolated it is and how no one wants to step foot there. Despite that, I like Scarborough Town Centre, it has a really kickass mall, and the Scarborough Bluffs are beautiful! Brampton - The city is a textbook case example in bad city planning. The population jumped from 100k in 1980 or thereabouts to 600k today. It's a suburban hellhole and little thought was given to traffic or liveability, it was just build, build, build. It's in the far reaches of the Greater Toronto Area to boot. To compound the problem of overbuilding, it is mostly Indian Sikh immigrants who moved there, and they tend to have multiple generations living in one household despite it being made for one family. I mean if it's just one house then it's not a big problem, but when the whole neighbourhood's houses are overcrowded and each house has four cars in the driveway and one on the side street then it's a recipe for traffic chaos. To make matters worse, many households rent out their basement illegally, so you get yet another family living under one roof. Brampton has the highest rate of auto insurance in the country by far (because of insurance fraud) and has the worst drivers, they drive like they're in India. The youth there like to pretend they're gangster and wear basketball jerseys and begin every sentence with yo and end every sentence in bro. The dialect has its charm but can get grating once you realize they're just pretending to be ghetto. Despite the "wasteyouth" (to use Toronto slang ) , it's actually very safe and upper-middle class for the most part (there are some poorer areas though). The most immediate danger is getting hit and run by a driver. I wouldn't advise committing crime in Brampton because people pack heat! The city has earned its nickname of "Bramladesh" Oshawa - I don't want to be too harsh on it since it reminds me of my hometown Hamilton, but it's a lot like Nowra. Druggies, a lot of poverty, teenage pregnancies and a lot of property crime. Like many rust belt towns in North America, it used to be manufacturing powerhouse, but once those jobs were automated or shipped overseas, the residents took to drugs and the city declined. Well, actually, the city was always full of druggies, now they just have a good excuse It's arguably its own city, and it definitely was at some point, but it got absorbed as a suburb of Toronto. It's still very far from Toronto proper though.
