Mid 2010s (2014-2016) is barely talked about honestly this thread is mostly to talk about the events and music in the Middle part of the Decade.

As much as I don't like to admit it, I'll probably one day feel nostalgic for songs released in 2015, because I was really in-tune with the Top-40 charts that year. I used to watch a Top-40 music show on TV during the early hours of the morning at the time, just to see what the mainstream music scene was like. I rarely listened to Top-40 radio between 2010-2014 (due to not liking new/current songs), which is why 2015 really stands out for me.
With that said, I actually fell out of touch with music in Early 2016, because I was so dissatisfied with the then current state of music. Even though I have never liked the 2010s for music, up until the start of 2016, I could at least find one or two songs which I didn't mind. There's honestly nothing from 2016 that I actually like.

IMO 2015 was easily the best year for rock music in this decade. Renegades, What You Need, Uma Thurman, Ex's and Oh's, The Otherside, Centuries, etc.
