One thing that I do not like about school is that I have to get up early in the morning T.T I honestly hate the sound of my alarm clock. Even hearing the sound in my head is enough to make me feel mad and uncomfortable. It's because my brain will then think that I have to wake up and get ready.

All the stuff you learn in school might sound useless now, but trust me it has its uses. The atomic model is the fundamental basis of chemistry, which is very important to know because you're going to be concerned your health in the future, and you're going to be working with chemicals whether it's in cooking, salting your driveway, concocting whatever recipe (say, using vinegar to clean your windows), it's important to know why things work the way they do so you can make informed decisions as a consumer and perhaps as a producer. If you didn't know about it, you would become like those who believe in very unscientific nonsense like conspiracy theories about fluoride/chloride in tap water or GMOs or chemtrails etc. And these people waste a lot of money and time because of how misinformed they are about basic science. When it comes to learning about the particularities of Western history, when you turn 18, it becomes your civic duty to vote, and a person armed with the knowledge of the mistakes and success of history is more capable of making informed decisions. I know it all sounds irrelevant, but trust me, adults/taxpayersare not wasting so much money on teachers and schools to teach you just any nonsense, this stuff has its uses and is intended to make you a functioning adult who knows how to participate in society.

Yeah, but what if we forget what we learned because they only care about the grades instead of us actually learning it? Even if you forget it (or rather, fail to recall it on command), if you come across the information again later it will be very intuitive and easy to re-learn again. For example, when I started exercising a few months back, I wanted to get down a proper nutrition plan. I tried to some research, and very familiar terms came up such as amino acid, complex carbohydrates, triglycerides, saturated vs unsaturated fats and organic compounds, ATP, energy measured in calories (and what a calorie is), maximum heart rate, etc. etc. etc. I've been out of high school for 8 years now (wow time flies), and I took a university level Chemistry course around ~2012, so it had been quite a while since I interacted with any of that. But it all came rushing back to me as I was reading up on it and I managed to get a good nutrition plan and diet down, and now I'm buff and hot Didn't waste any money or time buying garbage fitness and nutrition products and trust me there are SO many.

I looked back at stuff I learned in 8th grade and I don't even remember learning it. Like I'd forget how to do a math equation or something, and there is no bell that rings to me no matter how hard I try to remember it. I'm not saying those stuff aren't important, but a lot of teachers make it seem that way because they usually care more about our grades rather than if we actually learned it. Like I actually remember in 9th grade history when we did a vocabulary worksheet, and we got our papers back and on my paper the teacher wrote 100%, but when I was asked to read one of the definitions that I wrote, my teacher said it was wrong, which confused me because it seemed like the teacher didn't actually check to see if it was correct. I mean, what if I was absent while the class was reviewing it and I was just left with that paper the way it was, thinking it was actually 100% correct.

Haha I agree with you bro. The worst part about school is dealing with major assessment school projects. It's a pain in the ass I tell ya. You gotta get it done on time, it takes a lot of work. Homework is a big pain in the ass for us because of you know who.

She just wants us to succeed in school that's all. She doesn't care what else we do as long as we're getting good grades with no less than a 90% she doesn't care about anything else. Haha we're unlucky we have to live with a bitch like her.

Haha she can run around the house naked, scare me to death in the bathroom when I'm taking a shower, cry and get away with it. But when we step a foot in the hallway without completing our homework we get yelled at. I tried confronting her many times about her and the issue. Do you remember when we did it together?

I mean, what if I was absent while the class was reviewing it and I was just left with that paper the way it was, thinking it was actually 100% correct. You looked back as in you looked back in your mind or you physically looked back? What you learnt then should be built upon in later grades. Nonetheless, math is really important as a subject. Almost all high paying white collar jobs require advanced mathematical skills in some way. And even outside of jobs, math makes you smarter in general as it sharpens your problem solving and logical thinking skills. The latter must've been frustrating (well, other than getting a 100 despite being wrong, I bet you wished that happened more often ). I think that's a problem with your teacher unfortunately. i’m not going to remember any of this shit when i’m older...i don’t remember anything i learned last year or the year before in school and it’s stupid..nobody cares about this stuff it’s so boring and stupid Well, I don't know what it is you learnt last year, but trust me when I say you'll never forget the atomic model (unless your school system is in tatters), that is fundamental scientific knowledge. Tbf I didn't care about school before Grade 10 either. That's when I got my first job stocking shelves and being cashier at a grocery store. That's when I realized I wanted to get the hell out of there and into a job that more respects my intelligence. Customer service will eat your soul alive and make you completely lose faith in humanity What do you want to be when you grow older?
