I'm not sure how many people here like punk/pop-punk, but I thought I would create a thread based on discussing the two genres anyway. 
What are your favourite punk/pop-punk songs and how would you compare your interest in the genre with other genres of music? Generally speaking, I don't like pop-punk as much as alternative-rock/grunge, namely because I could never get into the Emo scene and i'm also not particularly fond of a lot of pop-punk songs from the Y2K-Era.
