What do you like about New York? 1. The diversity 2. The politics (The Democratic Party mostly dominates our politics. Gov. Cuomo is just OK though, he could be better) 3. Policies such as the Excelsior Scholarship (universal public college tuition coverage for working and middle-class residents) and $15 minimum wage (coming 12/31/19). 4. The beauty of the entire state. Many people just think of NYC when they hear "New York" but there's a WHOLE entire rest of the state. If you want to go skiing, hiking, fishing, snowboarding, exploring nature and the forest, see Niagara Falls...just head to Upstate NY.

Any decade before the 1950s. I'm not saying that there isn't anything interesting or fascinating about those decades but they would really be drab and lacking in modern technology.

The state of New York does seem really nice, from the pictures I have seen. Ah ok. Sorry, I forgot that I had asked that question. It was from June 2017, after all. Just out of curiosity, why do you really like the Late '80s/Early '90s?

Just out of curiosity, why do you really like the Late '80s/Early '90s? I'm glad that you like NY. I like the late '80s and early '90s because of the fashion, music, TV shows, movies and video games. It was also seemingly a fun and upbeat time in America (with the exception of the crack epidemic, 1992 LA Riots and a few other incidents). I also think that women dressed sexier during that time (not saying that women aren't sexy today) .

A few random questions;
What do you think is the most underrated year for pop culture ever?
What do you think of WWI?
Favourite accent?
Would you rather be a 1920's mobster or a 1960's hippie?
Scariest movie you have ever seen?

Scariest movie you have ever seen? Oh snap, sorry for the very late reply. I don't get any notifications for these threads. 1. 1990 2. Without WWI, we wouldn't have had WWII. WWI was an interesting war even though it wasn't as "exciting" or "heroic" as WWII. 3. My favorite accent would be the Standard American accent or the Italian accent (NOT Italian-American). 4. A 1960s hippie because I would rather have just taken drugs and "be free" than be a murderer and criminal if I was a mobster. I don't like hippie culture though lol 5. That's a tough question. I don't really know. I guess I'll say Halloween (1978).
