What are some myths about New York that you can dispel? Myth: Most New Yorkers are rude. The truth: Of course, there are New Yorkees who are rude but MOST NYers aren't. Most NYers are actually very friendly. The reason why we may come off as "rude" is because we have places to go and are in a rush (not all the time but usually). Myth: All there is to see in New York State is NYC. The truth: There is much more to NY than NYC. The entire state is beautiful, including the Adirondack Mountains.

Whats it like living in New York City? I've been thinking of applying to a college there. Living in NYC is just liked you imagine living in most large urban areas of North America. NYC is a great city, there is lots to see and explore. There is much more to NYC than Manhattan. Some places to visit are the Bronx Zoo, Prospect Park (of course also, Central Park), the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, the New York Hall of Science, Coney Island (aka Luna Park), the New York Aquarium, MoMA, etc.
