I can’t believe we’re near the end of the 2010s. It’s like yesterday we just entered the 2010s and now we are pushing 2020. It’s unbelievable how fast time has come. I’ll miss the 2010s but I will pay attention to pop culture of 2020s. I want to make the best out of it. I am already kind of nostalgic for the early 2010s but no doubt I think 2020 will be a fun year

Not really, to be honest. I'm not going to lie, there are so many things that I dislike about this decade. I actually feel kind of bitter about when I experienced my teenage years; they should have been the greatest years of my life, but instead, I experienced them during a time where people are glued to their smartphone devices, terrorism is a constant threat, Donald Trump was elected as President and my favourite genre of music has largely been absent from the Top-40 charts (rock). Honestly, it feels like a real kick in the teeth.
With that aside, my personal life hasn't particularly been great either. 2012 was an absolutely horrendous year for me personally; I was picked on during my first year of High School, my Nanna passed away from a stroke and three weeks later, my Uncle was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. There have also been concerns about my Dad's alcoholism. Since then, I have been dealing with depression and poor self-esteem, because I doubt myself and feel things really deeply. I just feel incredibly bitter about the 2010s.

I'm definitely going to miss the 2010's pop culture, especially when it comes to music. I've really like a lot of the songs this decade had to offer. The 2010's are my childhood and teenage decade, so it makes sense as to why I'd like it a lot. One thing I really like about the 2010's is the technology. My smartphone is there for me when I'm bored and there isn't really anything else to do. Of course, I still talk to people face to face, but when they're not there and there's nothing else to do, my smartphone is the answer.

I am in a way, but at the same time the problems are the same no matter what years it is.

Yep, it still is and forever will be my teenagerhood and my young adulthood so it will always have a special place in my heart despite all the whining for the tiniest of things from losers on the internet.

I have nostalgia for the Early 2010s also and yeah i will probably miss the 2010s since my childhood was in this decade and i will definetly miss the Early 2010s also and 2012. I think i'll nostalgically miss the 2010s further into the 2020s. Anyways i can't wait for 2020 i'm not gonna keep up with the pop culture though but i can't wait to hear the music from it.

I really did not enjoy most of this decade, with my personal life being fairly rotten from about summer 2011 thru spring 2017, not to mention popular culture being genetally lacklustre, but on the other hand, the last stretch of this decade has been going great in my personal life, and there’s no telling whether the perfect vision decade will be better or somehow worse than the 2010s.

I started the decade off in high school, the 2009-2010 school year. While I hated most of high school, I absolutely adored that year. It was the best year of my life up to that point! Then I graduated and got a job in late 2010; I worked for a year. The job sucked but I had a lot of fun with friends that year. Then I went off to university in late 2011 and that started the best period of my life. 2011-2016 was just magical in almost every way! I suffered through hard times too of course, like my sister getting cancer and become permanently disabled, and a few heartbreaks and feeling lonely at times, and university can be extremely stressful But I feel any periods of hardship helped me grow as a person in the end. Summer 2016 I started my current job which pays really well and I love my coworkers and my boss especially. Great minds work here. It's a really good environment and I'm learning a lot. Overall, the 2010s were very generous to me. I'm definitely going to miss this decade, it was the decade of my youth as I was/will be 17-26 this decade.

I won't miss the late part of it. Everything before 2017 I will miss.

No. I won't care when it ends. I'm indifferent about it.

I probably won't miss this decade's movies or music, but I'll definitely always have a soft spot due to my adolescence spanning the entirety of this decade.

Of course, this was the decade of my youth, along with the first half of the 2020s . I'm gonna be 19 when 2020 turns up so it'll be pretty cool, although scary that there will be teenagers born in 2007 then!

Now that we're less than 11 months away from the start of the 2020s, has anyone's opinion on this changed? Do you think you will miss the 2010s more than you initially thought?
I'll be honest, my viewpoint hasn't changed from what it was back in April.
