It was the best school year because that was when the C/O 2020 (AKA the coolest class in history) started Kindergarten.

I don't remember that period of time, in particular, as being a really good time for gaming. Although, I've never really been much of a gamer.

Even though I'm personally more all about the 1999-2000 school year, yes, the 2007-2008 school year seems to be a landmark period for gaming.

It was a good year for sure. I still remember the hype of Mario Galaxy back in 2007. It's become one my favorite games of all time.

Maybe, even though that was one of my last school years of actually playing video games, mostly PS2 and simulator games, before giving up entirely So I pretty much didn't take part of it :/ Maybe one day I'll go back to be an avid gamer

It’s up there, right alongside 1997-1998, 1998-1999, 2001-2002, and 2004-2005. 2004-2005 is still my personal favorite (both due to nostalgia and quality of games), but I’d place 2007-2008 in 2nd or 3rd place (trading places with 1998-1999).
