Do you play any video games (not sure if this has been asked of you already)? If so, you’re favourite(s)? I used to play a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator X but haven't in recent times. And I did play Minecraft (yes..) once upon a time. ^Right here hahaha . But I did play Fortnite for a month or two but stopped a few months ago. I used to be a Nintendo nerd but not recently! Whoops! I guess it pays to carefully read every post. Nintendo nerd! What games and systems do/did you own? I was a huge Nintendo fan as well when growing up and well into my late teens early 20s. I bought so much of their merch and stuff over a decent period of time, but in the last few years I have kinda lost the interest with a busy lifestyle schedule etc.

Should really get these out and play again. I used to own the SNES but sold it a few years ago for $200 after buying it for $50 about 10 years ago! Nice! Leads to my next question, what is your favourite console out of those (probably partly nostalgia driven but mine is the N64 by a considerable margin, and as for the handheld, the DS just beats the Game Boy! )?

Have you been to the East Gippsland region before? If so, what is your opinion of towns such as Sale, Bairnsdale etc.?

Nice! Oh and I also have the Gameboy advance (nearly forgot!). But out of all of them, probably the original Wii cause I've spent the most hours playing on that thing and owned it since new! But, I really enjoy playing the N64 even though I have 4 games for it (second hand I got it for in 2009). Yep! Me and my brothers had the N64 from brand new which is another reason why I have such fond memories of growing and playing up with it so much. Sounds very similar to you with the Wii of the time. I really liked what the Wii brought to the table and all, but I’d grown up a bit by the time of its release in 2006 and perhaps I didn’t appreciate it as much. Edit: Do you have any siblings?

I've gathered as much you follow the footy (AFL at least), dare I ask who do you support?

Despite the terrible news today re one of our players, 2019 is our year (hopefully). Collingwood?! Ah well, at least Qwerty has seen the light and has rightfully decided to support a team that does not have Eddie McGuire as their club president. Piss off you. Collingwood shits all over Qwerty’s Bulldogs.

Piss off you. Collingwood shits all over Qwerty ’s Bulldogs. Lol, but they'll both never be as good as the Cronulla Sharks.

I have only been to Wilsons Promontory (which is west Gippsland). But I did drive through the region when I was young to go to Merimbula but hardly remember. I've always wanted to go and stay for a few days in Lakes Entrance for quite a number of years, the beaches around there look very nice (and for regional TV ). Haven't really heard a lot about Bairnsdale or Sale before, I'd assume they're just typical gateway country towns (stereotypical much lol).Ah okay, that's fair enough. Lakes Entrance is a very nice area. I've traveled through there several times over the years and I have always liked it on each visit. It is a nice little coastal town, but it doesn't really have much in the way of things to do. You would probably want to travel to other nearby areas (e.g Buchan Caves, Gippsland Lakes) if you were to stay at Lakes Entrance for a few days. Yep, that's about right. Bairnsdale and Sale are pretty much just mid-sized country towns. They're not places that you would go out of your way to go to on a holiday or anything like that, but the town centres in both towns are quite nice. Sale's town centre always feels dead though, lol. Have you visited/been through the Latrobe Valley by any chance? I'm guessing that you probably would have went through there when you went on the trip to Merimbula, but have you been to the region any other time? Now that is an area to avoid. Morwell and Moe are really ordinary.

I've never been to Latrobe Valley besides that one time I drove through there. I would think Moe, Warragul all those places are very similar to each other. The west (Ballarat, Bendigo), south (Mornington Peninsula), and south west (Geelong, Great Ocean Road) are far more appealing!I have been to all these places before and can definitely agree with this! I had an overnight stay at Apollo Bay when I did The Great Ocean Road a number of years ago. It’s a nice little town for a short stay, though there's not a lot to do if there for an extended period I have to say (which is understandable I guess). You have travelled overseas, what states have you visited here before?

The Latrobe Valley isn't a desirable area in general, but honestly, it's only Morwell and Moe which are the places you would want to avoid. Traralgon isn't too bad (even though it's surrounded by power stations and coal mines) and it's definitely the most appealing out of the three. I've actually spent quite a lot of time in the Latrobe Valley and West Gippsland regions over the years. I've traveled through the area every time I've gone down to Tasmania on a holiday (the last time I was there was in January 2018), but my Mum's fiance' actually used to live in Morwell several years ago and my Mum and I would sometimes drive down and stay down there for a week during the school holidays (that was before he relocated up here), so I've gotten to know the area well. Warragul is actually quite a nice town. It's nothing like the towns in the Latrobe Valley, trust me. Yeah, I agree. They're very nice areas. I haven't actually been to Bendigo before though, and I have never traveled right into Geelong either (we caught the ferry across Port Phillip Bay from Sorrento and went around Geelong when we went to the Great Ocean Road). Have you ever been to Albury-Wodonga before?

Most of us answered this one, what are three interesting facts about you?
