Of course it is. I don't like the music from the past 25 years but if someone cares for it, that's their business. After all, my taste is out of the mainstream.

i really like hip hop and electronic dance. i like old school and new school hip hop and i like electronic dance music from my childhood

Rock and metal pretty equally. Both have lots of a different sub-sections although I think metal is the most diverse.

I chose other since my favourite genre of music is K-Pop which isn't listed above. I am became a K-Pop fan back in 2012 when I was introduce the K-Pop group B1A4 on forum that I use to be member of after a member there posted their music video for Beautiful Target.

I consider having fairly broad tastes, usually giving near every genre a chance. I think there's gems to find in most of them, and diversity is just the zest of life.
