I think this section could use a little more activity, and this can be achieved by the way of posting random songs and reviewing them. So I figured I would start by sharing this obscure piece of 90s Eurodance coming from my own home country, and maybe reflect on the whole genre as a whole
It topped the charts in several European countries, but flopped miserably in the UK and never even scratched the American charts, which will succumb to Aqua's brand of Eurodance a year later anyway. I personally love this song. The whispery verses create such a lovely contrast to the maximal and euphoric refrain. It's very playful and screams summertime.
What are your thoughts?

Nice idea for a thread. Admittedly, i'm not a huge fan of Eurodance and there's only a handful of songs that I don't mind, but "Bailando" isn't too bad. It's interesting to see what the music scene was like in other countries around the world. To be honest, i'm surprised that it performed so poorly in the UK. It wouldn't have been unreasonable for it to have been at least a moderate hit on the UK Top-50 chart.
