Seven people have died in a mass shooting on a rural property in Western Australia's south west. It has been described as Australia's worst mass shooting since the Port Arthur massacre, twenty-two years ago. A mother, her four children and two grandparents, now confirmed to be seven members of the same family, were found dead on their rural property just after 5am on Friday morning. It is believed that the deceased Grandfather was responsible for the shootings. The father of the four children has since spoken out: www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/may/13/margaret-river-tragedy-father-says-he-still-loves-man-believed-responsible-for-deathsI find those two quotes to be quite odd. Someone has just killed your four children, yet you admit that you still love the killer for who he was? Something's not right.

In fact, I almost find it unbelievable that this guy who has just had his entire family taken away from him to not only forgive the killer but basically endorse his actions.

Even though he stated that he hasn't had contact with the kids for quite some time, I wouldn't be surprised if it was determined that he had some say over the shootings. It all just doesn't add up.

They were all Jehovah's Witnesses, the father used to be but he stopped going, but the rest of the family were, if you think it a little strange i suggest you g and have a look at the website of the JWs and look up death, then it will make sense what he said and why he said it. I live not to far from where this happened. Not the first time there have been murder suicides within that cult. And children have to suffer for it

In that case, it does partially explain why the father responded in the manner that he did. It still doesn't excuse his lack of remorse though.
