What was it like for you guys hearing each others voices for the first time? I know many of you had done this before, this was my first time doing this livestream thing, I was shocked when I heard Tim's voice, he sounds older than me despite being 4 years younger lol

I know many of you had done this before, this was my first time doing this livestream thing, I was shocked when I heard Tim's voice, he sounds older than me despite being 4 years younger lol It was strange for me, because whenever I read posts made on the forum, I mentally read them in an Australian accent. It was odd hearing a full conversation in American accents.  I've always hated hearing my own voice in recordings, because I sound different to what I do normally. It didn't help matters that my computer's webcam has poor audio quality. It was also the first time that I had ever participated in a webcam/livestream chat as well.

I wish his mic worked better though. I kind of already had like a “feeling” on what Infinity would sound like, if that makes sense. Like I kind of knew she would sound the way she does. As for you, it’s the same with Infinity. You sound just like a typical white dude to me. Also, I remember when I very first heard Tim’s voice and I was even starting to think if Tim was actually really only 16.

It was nice being able to talk to #Infinity. She's really cool and @captianman97 is pretty cool as well, hope me and captain can talk more about Geography more.

While I did like the stream last night, I only think stream calls should be kept to a minimum. Here's why:
There might be problems if someone's mic is causing trouble.
It's sometimes hard to hear what others are saying.
There are some people who might feel a bit too shy to join.
People who can't join the call will probably feel left out.
Personally, I think the next stream should just be a regular stream.

There must be an issue with my computer's mic, because I remember there was a part where all of you could hear me perfectly, but every other time, the audio was quiet and sounded muffled. I was only at home and on my computer, so it must have just been my webcam's audio quality.

I really don't want to rule out the option of audio conversations, though. I personally think it's a lot more fun chatting by voice rather than just texting like we're on the regular forum, with only Mario getting to speak. I had such a blast last night that I decided not to go to a meetup that I had planned beforehand. Getting to talk with my forum buddies like for real is truly a special experience, in my opinion.
I know some people prefer not to use their microphone, but I think at the very least it would be nice if we could alternate between the two different types of streams.

Yeah, I do think Hangouts is the best route to go in the future. Since we can talk to each other. I was worried that the stream was gonna lag out which it was a few laggy moments, but I must say Google Hangouts improved a lot in the last few years.

At first it felt really weird as if I already knew you, but then I realised you just acted alot like this person I know lol
