What's the most recent year or time period that just feels worlds away in terms of your personal life? Like your personal life right now is nowhere near close to how it was then. For me, the most recent time period that feels worlds away in terms of my personal life is early-mid 2013. (January-August 2013) early-mid 2013 was the last time I was in elementary school. early-mid 2013 was the last time that I wasn't in puberty yet. early-mid 2013 was the last time I didn't know one of my very best friends that I have right now. early-mid 2013 was the last time I didn't pay that much attention to popular mainstream songs or pop culture in general (this actually applies to all of 2013 for me) early-mid 2013 was the last time I didn't have my own electronic device other than my dad's iPad, which wasn't even mine. early-mid 2013 was the last time I truly felt like I was in my childhood, or felt like a kid "kid". early-mid 2013 was the last time I didn't have my own desktop computer, which I still use but only once in a while and it's a lot slower now.

2010. It was the year before my Mum met her fiance'. As a result, 2010 does feel very distinct from the present time, even though my Mum's fiance' didn't move here until a few years later (he lived interstate). I was 11 years old in 2010 and I personally consider it to be my last childhood year.

2011 or early 2012.
In January 2012, I still felt like a tween.
In December 2012, my interests were drastically different compared to my interests just a year before.
If one whole decade represented 2012 for me, it would be the 1960's.
January - April 2012: 1960-1963 May - August 2012: 1964-1966 September - December 2012: 1967-1969

2002-2004 = Don't remember it at all. 2005-2008 = Felt a life time ago. 2009-2011 = Feels completely disconnected from the present. 2012-2014 = Felt like a while ago. 2015-2018 = Recent

2015 is the recent year that feels different in my personal life with 2014 feeling like a while ago.

I know I mentioned 2010 in my earlier post, but the most recent year which would feel noticeably different for me would have to be 2015, when I was in Year 10 and learning how to drive. It doesn't feel worlds away from the present time, but it's quite removed from the present time in a number of ways.
