Add U2 to my list. Their music is crap and Bono is a jerk. First three albums were magnificent. Rejoice IMO is one of the finest moments in rock. I don't think it's fair or wise to judge a band on the lead singer, in Bono's case it's usually his political stance. I get tired of people banging on about that. Fair to say after The Joshua Tree they really sold out to pop and churned out a lot of dull material. But their early days were fantastic and they were very very good live too.

Fair enough. To like someone is your right. It's just that their music does nothing for me.

I have a couple: Can't stand Chris Brown, what an annoying prick and a loosy music collection. The fact he had a hit in this, the year 2018, blows my mind. Garry Glitter is the definitely the worst popular Glam Rock act in a genre I'm already not a really fan of. Never really liked Bing Crosby. I find his voice dull as dishwater and yet so many of his standards are seen as classics, in particular that dang Christmas song. In my eyes Frank Sinatra blows him completely out of the water. Limp Bizkit are terrible, simple as that. And yeah, the Chainsmokers are pretty damn bad. I would add to the bunch the absolutely insufferable and completely classless 6ix9ine

Didn't noticed but it is actually quite true. I'll like to think that their particular awful attitudes bleed through their art and hurt the overall product. Then you also have musicians whome music I love but are/were bad human beings like James Brown, Cee-Lo Green and Stan Kenton, so it's all relative.

I was going to make this post last night, but a pounding headache put a stop to that. Anyhow...
U2: My opinion of U2 is much the same as my opinion of INXS; they are a dull, over-commercialised band who receive constant airplay on FM radio. I don't understand why they are so universally revered, because their songs are nothing out of the ordinary. Their earlier work is apparently a significant contrast to the image-focused songs from their later career and is meant to be quite good, at least from what I've been told. I haven't listened to any of their songs from before they hit it big, so I can't exactly make a judgement on them.
Black Eyed-Peas: Maybe it's the fact that my taste in music has expanded so significantly since I was younger and I have simply outgrown them, but now I can't stand any of their songs. Their music just comes across as really manufactured, inauthentic and childish. They were actually one of my favourite bands when I was a kid; I particularly liked "Pump It" and "Let's Get It Started". Now, however, I find their music to be rubbish. The only Black Eyed-Peas song I can still somewhat tolerate is "Meet Me Halfway".

This! I'll never support an abuser and his music is straight up terrible so seeing him in the charts yet again only gets an eye roll from me.

I also dislike Shakin' Stevens and Justin Timberlake. Shakin' Stevens was a wannabe Elvis.

I was thinking this to myself when I was driving to Tafe on Tuesday, but i'm really starting to be turned off by P!nk and I think the thing that annoys me the most is how Australia laps up her music. Pink has been irrelevant in other countries for years, yet she continues to churn out hit after hit here. To make matters worse, ever since she released "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" back in 2012, she has continued to release dull, adult contemporary pop music which are un-distunguishable from one another. "What About Us" is just like "A Million Dreams", or "Beautiful Trauma" or "Walk Me Home".
