We were warned months ago, and it’s looking likely that this coming summer is going to be pretty terrible for Australia (particularly for Victoria, Tassie and SA). Century-old records are being broken everywhere with consecutive days near 30 degrees. It quite amazing to think that we are not even in summer yet (with Tassie the peak is still months away! ).

It just goes to prove that climate change is an natural, recurring process. Too bad people like Tony Abbott are too ignorant to actually consider the effects of it.

30 degrees! I'm surprised Tasmanian's are still coping with it, haha. Haha - this is about the 6-7th day in a row now with temps at 27 degrees or above. Revised forecast from the BOM for tomorrow is for a top of 31 degrees again! I think need to think about moving to cold old NSW!

I had a look at the forecast for Hobart just then and there's rain forecast for Friday. Hopefully it will put an end to the "heatwave" Tasmania is experiencing! Haha, you could join @zampakid and I by moving to the Illawarra.
