19 March High: 6°C Low: -5°C (windchill: -7°) Mix of sun and clouds - - - Yesterday was like poetry. I couldn't stand being inside for even 10 minutes. I was able to sit on a park bench with my iced coffee to listen to music. It's a good thing I have noise isolating headphones, the birds don't shut up this time of year. Some bunnies frolicking around took me by surprise. HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?! People were wearing short sleeve shirts or rolling their sleeves up, even saw someone wearing shorts  Sunny days!

Some rain around noon. ---- The 20th of March was the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. The Earth tilted the other side so that the Northern Hemisphere faces the sun. The days will be longer than the nights going forward. That means it was the first day of spring, and boy did it feel like it! We reached positive double digits for the first time in a month.  And spring means you know what. I made my own image this year

I went to get a haircut the day before at 6PM, but when I went the shop was closed, even though the stated closing time was 7PM. I bet they went out early to enjoy the weather. I couldn't get angry  Yesterday I rode my bike for the first time since November. I really forgot how happiness felt like 😭

The weather is SO bad in Auckland today, raining all over the place. The good thing is that we are finally forecast to get a thunderstorm later tonight, we haven't had one of those in 97 days!!

Yesterday I rode my bike for the first time since November. I really forgot how happiness felt like 😭 I haven't ridden a bike since the 2000s, no joke.

The weather is SO bad in Auckland today, raining all over the place. The good thing is that we are finally forecast to get a thunderstorm later tonight, we haven't had one of those in 97 days!! Damn. So you guys are now stealing our rain! It was Queensland last week and NSW a couple of weeks ago. When are we supposed to have our turn. It gets forecast but never arrives; it’s sooooooo dry here at the moment.

Last week, Cropp River (a place on the South Islands West Coast) got 1100mm in two days  . For your perspective, thats roughly how much Hobart receives in two years.
