I had a look at the forecast for Hobart just then and there's rain forecast for Friday. Hopefully it will put an end to the "heatwave" Tasmania is experiencing! Haha, you could join @zampakid and I by moving to the Illawarra. There is a possibility of showers but nothing substantial, unfortunately. Only a 40% chance of 0-1mm. Sunday is looking like the best chance of something more with a 50% chance of up to 3mm. But even with that, come early next week the temperature soars back up to near 30 with no rain forecast again. Haha, it’s looking good right about now! You guys are getting pretty cool conditions at the minute only hovering around the mid-20s.

It's weird how Sydney/NSW is currently experiencing what feels like fairly normal Spring weather while you guys in Tasmania (and also Victoria...I think) has been getting an early taste of Summer. Over the last few years, it's generally been the other way round at this time of year!

Sunny today with a high of 25C, rh: 55%. I think EyewitnessTV sent his heat wave in our direction with many places in the South Island surpassing 30C, normally that won't happen until December.

Haha, sounds like it. Got to a top of 23 degrees at my location yesterday (not a pleasant one either, with muggy humid conditions after yet another thunderstorm and brief downpour passed over late afternoon). Today is looking like a similar outlook with another 23 degree day with showers (8-20mm predicted) and a possibility of another thunderstorm. Thankfully it cools down slightly on Monday and Tuesday though. However, by Wednesday the temperature is predicted to be back up to near 30 again.

Must say, all these recent thunderstorms we’ve been experiencing is certainly out of the ordinary. Even in summer the state is lucky to get a few thunderstorms, but currently in spring it’s really strange.

Got to a high of 23 with the predicted downpour of up to 20mm hitting earlier in the evening. Going for a top of 23 yet again later today.
