I noticed it snowed in Canberra during the footy last night, too. The crowd there didn’t mind despite it looking pretty wild on TV though. Interesting that it’s the first time this has occurred during an AFL game apparently. I remember someone here linking a video of it snowing in Canberra during an AFL match in 1999 or 2000. You sure that wasn't an NRL game? I'm sure it's a first in AFL.

Over here it has been a hot July (highs of 27-31°C mostly but there was a day with 37°C) but things are finally cooling down in August. A lot of 23-27°C in the forecast. The dog days of summer have come to an end and it will be autumn before too long. The forecast for late August are in the 21-24°C range with nighttime lows approaching 10°C.

Peak autumn has arrived. It's cold at night (3-6°C) and nice during the day (12°C-20°C).

Dropped to -0.2C at my location in the early hours of this morning. At the moment, it's only 4.4C, even though it's 10.30pm. My poor car will probably get ice on it again. If you don't mind me asking, did your location have snow every year?

It reached a top of about 23C here in Canberra today. Showers are forecast for tomorrow, which is pretty inconvenient for me, as I had planned on checking out Floriade. The maximum temperature is only expected to be 17C as well.  Here I thought Tassie’s & Victoria’s weather was erratic as. Yeah, i'm sure @slowpoke1993 would find Tasmania's weather quite mild in comparison. Even the West Coast of Tasmania can't hold a candle to Richmond Hill!

Cold in Melbourne today, forecast was 14C but it only got to 12C I believe! With the rain it was like a winter day!

Currently 60F (16C) with rain here in eastern PA. Humidity is 91% with winds E at 6 mph. Today's high was 63F (17C), and the low was 45F (7C).

It won't much get below 25°C in Melbourne tonight, before a cool change arrives in the morning making it below 20°C for most of the day tomorrow!
It makes for a bizarre forecast, the maximum temperature for tomorrow will be at around 3am.
