It was -2C and sunny this morning, but with strong winds of 45 km/h, the "windchill" as we call it (how the air actually feels against your skin – important to know for how long you can have exposed skin before you get frostbite) was actually -11C. Brr! -2C! How chilly! In contrast, it's 30C here at the moment.

Brr! Wow. That's very windy especially for how cold the actual temperature is! I'm sure you don't enjoy it but I would like to experince that for once- although probably once would be enough

That's a lot of rain! 10C and cloudy here, with light rain. Shorts weather! 😁 “Up to 20mm” isn’t all that much rain actually. Considering up north in Victoria had over 200mm of rain in some parts last weekend. Now, that’s a fair bit on any measurement!

Even Hobart never experiences those maximum temperatures. Obviously Mt. Wellington definitely can at times, but no not the CBD itself. During the depths of winter 4-5 degrees is about as low as it gets mostly. Canberra and surrounds receives quite a number of days/nights in the negatives though (located inland is the reason for that much like what happens in Launceston as it’s also inland).

I hear the weather up on the the sunny(?) Gold Coast was quite amazing the other night @zampakid ! It was really dull most of the days at the Gold Coast, the first two days was really nice but from Tuesday to Saturday I've been through some violent Thunderstorms!

I hear the weather up on the the sunny(?) Gold Coast was quite amazing the other night @zampakid ! It was really dull most of the days at the Gold Coast, the first two days was really nice but from Tuesday to Saturday I've been through some violent Thunderstorms! Saturday in particular was quite bad for large parts of the south-east Qld. Looks like I have something to look forward to when I’m up there in the next few weeks! Oh well.

-3C and snowing right now (Sunday afternoon). 5-10cm of snow is expected over the next few days. edit: -10C and mostly sunny as of Monday morning. Now I have to get out my jacket and scarf
