Snow yesterday, snow today, snow tomorrow, snow the day after and very windy throughout. The forecast for Friday night is -11C Spring nowhere in sight, looks like it's going to be a long winter this year. -40 wind chills! Couldn't even imagine what that would be like. Cold? Freezing? We had -40C windchill around December/January. Your nostrils burn, your lungs hurt, your face feels like it's being stabbed by needles, and your hand and feet lose circulation, and it's cold no matter how many layers to put on.

39°C? That's absolutely ridiculous for the Illawarra in mid-late March!
Most of the Sydney metropolitan area is expecting maximum temperatures around the 37-39°C range on Sunday, although I wouldn't be overly surprised if the usual "hot spots" like Penrith (I really don't know how people who live there put up with always getting the hottest in Summer, coldest in Winter and hardest hit by storms) manage to crack the 40°C mark.

Today kind of illustrates the importance of windchill. It's -5C in the morning right now, but it's going to get up to 2C in the afternoon before dropping to -3C in the evening (and it will be -8C next morning). But with humidity/windchill? It feels like -1C right now (some humidity, no wind), dropping to -6C in the afternoon and -11C in the evening and -18C the next morning (all with 25-30 km/h winds). Don't be out in your spring coat! Now whether I want 39C or not... Hmm, better the devil I know

It's going to say 2C on the thermometer, but to humans it will feel more like -6C because of the windchill, so it's important to bundle up

Today's the day -9C, very windy (windchill: -19C) and snowing as I head out this morning. But will clear up and get up to -1C (windchill: -6C) in the afternoon.

Currently 38.7c in the Illawarra. It's currently 40.2C at my place. Is this what Tom would be doing at the moment?

Currently 38.7c in the Illawarra. 💀💀💀 It was nice here today. I mean, it only got up to 0C, but not much wind and it was sunny. Tomorrow is going to be a spring sneak peek when it gets up to 7C and sunny
