Temperatures have been adjusted upwards for today and we are now going for a top of 30 degrees! I think we’re in for a scorching summer period in Tassie (particularly in the South of the state) this year as has been predicted for months now.  🔥🔥 SharksFan99 I think you might be going to regret your summer holidays down here this year if the predictions are proven correct! And it’s looking like they will be if any of the early signs are indication.  That's no good! Although, I may avoid the worst of the heat, as i'm not planning on going to southern Tasmania next January. Oh well, at least i'm used to those temperatures!

The sun has just gone down over the horizon . I was just looking at the sunset a few minutes ago, I actually took some pictures aswell because it was pretty cool

Hobart got to a top of 31 degrees in the end today. I think I heard we were the 4th hottest capital (behind only to Melbourne, Adelaide and Darwin). Top temperature is about 8 degrees above the average apparently. It’s still 22 degrees right now at 12am. Looking like a long night of not much sleep.

At least the temperature is only predicted to reach 21c tomorrow (well, technically today, since it's part midnight). That's no good! Hopefully the temperature will drop in the next half-an-hour or so.
