The weather certainly is unpredictable. In recent years, the seasons have on average been uncharacteristically warmer. We were still experiencing Summer-like conditions until late April/Early May. However, at the present time, the weather has seemingly cooled off and we are seeing a continuation of Winter conditions. It only reached a maximum daytime temperature of 12C today and we are expected to experience temperatures between 15C-19C for the rest of the week, despite the fact that Spring starts in just five days time. At this time last year, we were already getting temperatures in the Early-Mid 20s. Needless to say, i'm certainly not complaning about the cooler weather!  Last year we had an early autumn in Canada in late August (meaning we had Britain's summer weather at this same time last year ). It was really depressing. But then out of nowhere in late September there was a heatwave with 5 consecutive days of 33C+, and then it felt summer-like into early October. It was a really nice surprise!

Been having thunderstorms like crazy since Sunday night. It has since cleared up after this morning.
