My coworkers new to Canada are really feeling it now. "It was the coldest night of my life!" Oh my sweet summer children, winter just started. What countries did they come from originally, if you don't mind me asking? It would be a big adjustment for them though. I don't think I would be able to handle -10 or -15C temperatures either! 27°C now And the weather is damn hot this few days, always reach up to 35°C.... That's no good. 35C would feel particularly uncomfortable in Malaysia, because as a result of the country's tropical climate, the humidity levels would be really high as well.

They're from all over the place, India, China, Japan, USA, UK, Bangladesh, Korea, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, etc. even one from Azerbaijan (he's the first Azeri I met ). My Turkish co-worker was the one who said it was the coldest night of his life. He also saix it hurts to breathe. My Brazilian friend said his ears, hands and feet were hurting when he went to get gas for his car and he was screaming mama A Russian co-worker said it was warmer here than in his hometown. A Korean co-worker loves winter because she loves winter fashion. I think Korea gets similar winters as we do (but they are a lot shorter). I need to adopt her attitude

13 January High: -7°C (windchill: -10°) Low: -13°C (windchill: -17°) Sunny. ---- It's winter sunglasses season and I left them at home. The way the sun was reflecting off the snow is blindingly bright.

I feel particularly sorry for your Brazilian, Egyptian and Mexican co-workers. They're probably thinking to themselves, "what have I done?".
