12 March High: 4°C (windchill: 2°) Low: -7°C (windchill: -12°) Beautiful sun. ----- The streets were so electric, it felt like summer. Kids riding their bikes and scooters laughing, the birds singing, everyone with a smile on their face. I LIVE for days like this. Spring... Soon !  It reached a high of 34C this afternoon.  Thankfully, a southerly came in just after 6.30pm, so it has cooled things down a lot. That being said, I was so jealous when I realised this morning that Hobart was only forecast to reach a maximum of 16C today.  That's the type of weather I wish we were experiencing up here! 16c in the summer is miserable!

I doubt we’ll see any 30s this season. I am pretty sure Summer has finished this year for us now.

I wish we had such a gentle end to summer. Over here it would be 35°C one day and 15°C the next and the despair sets in. Case in point  21st September High: 32°C / Low: 9°C. 22nd September High: 17°C / Low: 7°C.

I was at Tafe when the storm passed over the Illawarra and the massive claps of thunder almost gave a few people in my class (including my lecturer) a heart-attack, lol. It didn't even faze me! 16c in the summer is miserable! No it's not, it's bliss! EyewitnessTV should consider himself to be very lucky that Hobart can receive those temperatures during Summer. I doubt we’ll see any 30s this season. I am pretty sure Summer has finished this year for us now. Yep, I would say so!

Judging by the online videos and photos it looked liked a pretty decent storm with hail again (I’m sure Sydney/NSW had a similar event just a month or so ago? ). Not many 16c days occur during Summer itself but it’s known to happen from time to time I guess.

I'm proud of you surviving winter! Early next week we're supposed to have some freakish "tropical" weather and be in the upper 60's and lower 70's (around 19-21C) Oh yeah, I heard Vancouver is going to be the first city in Canada to break 20°C this year (and Seattle is right next to it). Jealous of dat weather 15 March High: 8°C Low: -3°C (windchill: -10°) Intermittent rain, snow in the evening. Overcast.
