Really gross weather this morning. It's 0C with freezing rain and a dense fog. The sidewalks were very slippery. I don't envy anyone who has to drive in this weather! It's going to get up to 6C in the evening so hopefully all this ice will melt That doesn't sound good. 0C, with heavy rain and dense fog wouldn't be pleasant at all. Speaking of freezing conditions, smartboi, were your school classes cancelled for the day?

Not heavy rain, but freezing rain. It's rain that turns into ice once it hits the ground. This is a photo from Toronto after the Christmas 2013 ice storm (I lost electricity for two days following that!) Of course it was nowhere near this bad since it was only a drizzle this time It's all gone now.

Yesterday was a welcome relief from the humid weather we have been experiencing for most of Summer. It only reached a maximum of 18C.

Is autumn starting down there? Our spring sneak-peak continues with it getting up to a high of 10C today. Yesterday it got up to "only" 4C. That's higher than the typical high of -1C for this time of year, but I'm just too spoilt now Edit: I'm going to be taking my bike out for a spin for the first time since November. There's still some snow/ice here and there but I think it should all finally melt today. Get hyped!

Autumn officially starts in three days time, but our weather is most likely already transitioning into Autumn. It's good to hear that the weather is starting to warm up over there. Enjoy your bike ride!

The Arctic heatwave continues: it got up to a balmy 13C and sunny today! The previous record high was 15C in 2000, it didn't get quite that warm, but it was close. It looks like we're returning to a late winter type of weather towards the end of the week. Oh well, it was a lot of fun while it lasted. The Spring forecast for my area predicts a very stormy spring: lots of rain and snow. Although the temperatures should be around normal.

We beat the forecast today! The Arctic heatwave has sent temperatures blazing to 17C. It was definitely too hot to wear my coat. I'm going to go out on my bike in a short sleeve shirt on this 28th February This global warming deal ain't so bad.

To think that idiots such as Donald Trump continue to think that global warming isn't even a concern. With that said, Canada can keep global warming to itself. We don't want it here!

We don't want it here! Yep, it got up to 2C in the North Pole today. We have Arctic ice thawing in the middle of winter, and there are still people in denial! The North Pole has spent 61 hours (as of yesterday, so add a few hours more for today) above freezing this Winter 2018. The highest ever recorded since record-keeping started (in 1979) was 11 hours above freezing in Winter 2011. We're already almost 6 times that! qz.com/1217520/arctic-temperatures-are-surging-above-freezing-in-winter/
