It was 18c and sunny. Such a nice contrast from the weekend. I didn't have to wear my coat!  But that also means we closed off April failing to hit 20c. It's the first time that's happened since 1999. April 2018's average maximum was a paltry 7c, making it the coldest April since 1972 and confirms this was the longest and harshest winter I've lived through  Tomorrow is the start of the summer tease. Warm air from the Caribbean is headed this way and it's going to heat things up to 27c. My body is ready! We deserve this. ☀

Aw man, the sun set on our picturesque beautiful day. I was hoping it would never end! 27c and sunny. The first time I've seen it hit 20c+ in almost 7 months!

I'm actually getting pretty excited for this you know, can't wait for these -100C forecasts straight out of Richmond Hill every week to end, ....something a bit more optimistic.

It was 27c and sunny in the morning, before turning cloudy and giving us a few afternoon showers. The heat didn't relent though, the summer rain smell was bliss! 😇 The spring bloom has started. I saw a few daisies in my neighbour's garden and there's a few plants beginning to sprout in my backyard. I can't wait to take some photos tomorrow. Awesome! I'm actually getting pretty excited for this you know, can't wait for these -100C forecasts straight out of Richmond Hill every week to end, ....something a bit more optimistic. Alas, the summer heat was only for a few days. We're dipping back into mid-spring weather now but it's nothing out of horror movies like the dead of winter.  Wow! SP has certainly been all thawed out now it seems with these scorching temperatures! 🔥 Naw, I love the heat. My coworkers though were complaining all day and sipping on iced coffee. Complaints of "I'm melting!", "Okay, now it's too hot" even though it was only 22c outside with a nice breeze and not even humid or sunny yet. I had to hear this all day as it only got hotter Also my sister's nurse came to our house yesterday (when it was also 27c) and complaining it was too hot inside. She was still wearing her coat!

Temperature is in the 90s today (in fahrenheit) but expected to drop to the 60s next week

Yesterday it got up to 20c in the morning, but rain the afternoon made the temperatures drop quickly and I was kind of underdressed for when it got to 9c in the evening.  It's 7c and very foggy this morning, but it's supposed to get up to 23c... Not sure when exactly Edit: crazy wind/thunderstorm right now and of course it happens on garbage day! The bins were everywhere and I didn't even know which ones were ours  Edit2: okay this all out typhoon level. Gusts of 120 km/h. My neighbour's backyard fence fell down and my house is wobbly.  To think I had plans to take my bike out for a spin

While the afternoon high reached a summer-like 26c after the thunderstorm, the windstorm picked up and left 2 dead, 160,000 without power, and making all trains and planes come to a halt.  The winds have died down and it's currently it's 7c as of the evening. Cold and foggy in the morning, thunderstorms in the afternoon, then hot and sunny, and then crazy windstorm from hell, and now cool again in the evening.
