It’s quite chilly. I do miss the warmer weather. According to the BoM it’s only going to get to a top of just 16c for Thursday. 🥶

We've had very warm and muggy conditions up here for the past few days. It got up to 38C last Friday.

I’m thinking around 25c and we’re talking. 38c is waaaaaay too hot for my liking, too. 😉

7th November High: 7°C | Low: 3°C. Mostly cloudy, light rain in the afternoon. 8th November High: 6°C | Low: -1°C (windchill: -4°). Mostly cloudy. 6th November High: 16°C / Low: 5°C. Downpour in the morning, mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Windy (40 km/h, gusts of 70 km/h) Despite the warmth it was awful today . I was waiting in line in the rain for the bus, and it was just my luck that as I was about to get on the driver said the bus was full and drove off. I had to wait about 10 minutes in the rain for the next one! Anyway, after this mini heatwave, we're going into a mini ice age. Temperatures will drop below freezing and will struggle to stay above it. But it will be SUNNY (with snow every now and then) and that is all I need right now!! Good riddance autumn That must have been incredibly frustrating! Do the buses you catch often get full or was today just a rare exception? Either way, it's pretty unlucky that it had to happen when it was raining. There's usually a long line, but the bus almost always manages to get everyone in. It's rare that it fills up completely, but it just so happened on that day

9th NovemberHigh: 3°C (windchill: 0°) | Low: -3°C (windchill: -8°). Wet snow in the morning, mixed percipitation (snow+rain) in the afternoon. Mostly dry in the evening. My coworkers that live closer to the lake were excited for the "first snow", and we all took about 2 hours to go outside and enjoy it. Of course for #WeTheNorth this was like the fifth snow of the season so I was not as impressed My "first snow wish" (a wish you make when it snows the first time, it's supposed to be good luck) was the same as the one I made a few weeks ago: That Smash Bros. will be awesome and without online glitches 10th NovemberHigh: 1°C (windchill: -4°) | Low: -4° (windchill: -9°). Sunny in the morning. Intermittent snow. We got real sunlight for the first time in weeks! I don't remember it being so bright, it was blinding. But it was also sunny and snowing at the same time, it was the most beautiful thing ever

Most people wouldn't be able to do that. I bet you're not looking forward to tomorrow; it's meant to get to a top of 36C in Whyalla. 23c tomorrow. Summer isn’t far off now. 👌 It sounds funny to hear of 23C as being a sign that Summer is on it's way. We've been experiencing temperatures in the low-mid 20s since the end of Winter.

Sunny in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon.

You’re also further north. 😜 As you’re aware, temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to low to mid-30s is typically Tassie’s Summer. Very rarely does it go beyond the high 30s low 40s (and when it does it cools off quickly and isn’t sustained heat like you find in South Australia and further aboard).

12 November High: 8°C | Low: -1°C (windchill: -5°). Partly cloudy in the morning, overcast in the afternoon. Snow likely overnight. Really nice and warm-ish today! But the most heart-warming thing was this viral video that's been making the rounds of Eritrean refugee children experiencing snow for the first time and tying to catch it in their hands. If only they could spread this positivity about snow around

Just as I mention this I’m shown up. 😛 It reached a very unseasonable top of 30c about an hour ago. It has currently dropped back to 29c now. Maybe the prediction of a very hot dry Summer may eventuate this year.

If only they could spread this positivity about snow around That would have been a great experience for them! I agree, stories like that deserve to receive more coverage in the media. If i'm not mistaken, Hobart was originally expected to reach a maximum of 27C; the meteorologists got it wrong.

Plenty of snow last night 13th November High: 1°C (windchill: -5°) | Low: -6°C (windchill: -13°). Snow in the early morning. Overcast most the day with some sunshine in the early afternoon. Snow in the evening. Whiteout warnings issued for tonight. ----- Brr!! I forgot my earmuffs at home (well, to be more precise, I didn't see the need to wear them––until today) and my ears felt a dull pain like someone was pulling on them. It's starting to get colder... Winter Is Coming Some autumn trees are still surprisingly holding on. Whether they're tough or just very stupid, no one can say.
