I guess so. @zampakid prefers his thunderstorms, which we don’t get often unlike you guys further north. Even though I like thunderstorms, im happy we haven't had any over the past few days cause it got pretty annoying

It's actually still fall, as you will see in a few weeks time when real winter starts. If it's raining it's not winter Yup. Winter doesn’t “officially” commence till the 21st. I bet you are looking forward to that? I guess it must be secretive. I guess so. @zampakid prefers his thunderstorms, which we don’t get often unlike you guys further north. To me it's not winter until it's colder outside than in my freezer (windchill drops below -20°C) . Confusing November/December for winter is a classic mistake a lot of newcomers to Canada make. They spend an obscene amount of money looking fashionable for -5°C, and then January comes and it's -25°C and they realize that hideous giant bulky jacket selling inexplicably for $700 was what they actually needed ---- 11 December High: -1°C | Low: -4°C. Snowing. ---- When it's already night time when you're done with work at 5PM 😭

I’ve known some tourist who have visited Hobart in late December expecting hot weather and are instead greeted by sub-20s cool conditions still. Even though Summer “officially” commenced on the 1st of this month, we don’t normally see a steady climb and more consistent Summery conditions until about mid January (and even late January sometimes). The warmer weather has usually ended by a couple of weeks into March.

We're experiencing a thunderstorm at the moment! The internet has dropped out twice and the lights flickered on and off about half an hour ago, but thankfully we've still got electricity. From what I've heard, most of the Shellharbour area has no power at the moment. Not sure if @zampakid would have been affected by it or not.

I did see the transformer lit up while I was observing the storm, and I got a call from my sister minutes later that Stockland Shellharbour is in darkness.

It's interesting to hear that your area has been spared, because from what I've read, Warilla, Shellharbour, Shell Cove and Oak Flats all have no power at the moment. Basically most of the Shellharbour area is without electricity.
