There are only two genders, male and female, and the vast majority of people feel completely comfortable with the gender they were assigned at birth. However, there are a few who don't feel they fit into either category, whether they are someone who's comfortable with their male genitals but who likes cross dressing and posing as a woman at times, or someone with female genitals who wants to grow a beard. It sounds unordinary, but this is how some people feel: they are not completely one or the other, they are non-binary.  They are often maligned and misunderstood, but whatever they're doing does not harm anyone and they are exercising personal choice. Unfortunately, they are often the victims of violence and prejudice, and have a high rate of suicuide and make up a significant percentage of the homeless population, which just goes to show how rigid and strict gender roles are even in the most liberal countries, and the grave consequences of not conforming to them. 🤐

There are only two biological genders, but gender, as a psychological concept, can manifest itself in many different ways.
