1975 - I remember not wanting to go to my first day of school, called the teachers some names that began with 'B' can blame my late grandfather for me knowing words like that 1977 - still remember to this day being in grade 3 and being hit by a car (van actually), he didn't stop either. Police came around to my house. Also remember a school camp that year and a girl who is now a top Australian actress 1979 - remember often going to the football with my Nanna or my Uncle. Thanks for sharing your personal recollections from when you were younger. It sounds like you had a pretty interesting childhood! If you don't mind me asking, who is the top Australian actress that you met? Also, sorry to hear that you were hit by a car when you were in Year 3. It's pretty lousy that they didn't even stop at all!

Earliest memories are in 2001, I remember a decent amount from 2002-2004, but I can't really date things that happened within that time. I'd say 2005 or 2006 is the first year I remember really well to where I actually know when things happened, probably due to starting school in late 2005.

Yeah, I think starting/being in school does help with remembering when certain things happened. For instance, I started primary school in Early 2005, and I believe it has helped me be able to remember a few minor things that happened outside of school. Also, welcome to the forum! I don't know if you want it changed or not, but I notice that your username is completely in lowercase and without any spacing. If you want to change it to how you have your username on inthe00s and Personality Cafe, you can go into your profile settings and change the "display name". The display name is the username which is seen across the forum.

Thank you, that was kind of bothering me, lol. I'm having issues with quoting though, it could be because I'm on mobile, but when I press quote, I'm not able to put text inside of the text box, I can add attachments and the such, but not actual text, I'm probably just being really stupid missing something obvious, but it seems like it's not working for me.

Just out of curiosity, are you using the "mobile" version or the "desktop" version at the moment? The reason why I ask, is because if you're on your mobile phone, you can switch between the two. I'll try to look into it and see if I can fix the issue.

I'll still look into it though and see if there is anyway of fixing it through the desktop version.

My earliest memory took place in July 2001 when I was at the beach with my parents, my grandmother, and my aunt.
My first full memory probably took place in around December 2003, when my parents, some members of my mother's side of the family, and I went to California.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you become aware that your earliest memory is from July of 2001? Did your family members inform you that it was from then or are there photos/home videos from then? I honestly have no idea what month my first memory took place. I'm pretty certain that it occurred in Late 2000, but that's pretty much all I know.

I knew that it was 2001, but I wasn't aware of the month until much later when I was told that we went to the beach in July of that year. All that I can remember from it, however, is walking on the water and crying in the back seat of my parents' car afterward.

I also have another memory from around 2001 that involved me making weird noises in the car while passing electrical transmission towers. I do not know the exact month, let alone the exact day, that it took place though.
