The Orielles 48 percent released in 2018 sounds like it was released between the late 80s-early 90s.

This was released in 2009 but it sounds like it could be a hit in late 2013/early 2014, it sounds very similar to Counting Stars. OneRepublic were really ahead with the times back then.

This song came out in 2017, which was the first full year of late 2010's culture, but this hip-hop song sounds like it could've been released in 2013 or 2014.

For some reason, I've always thought this song came out in like 2011. It just doesn't sound like a typical 2002 song to me.

This song was a hit in early 2009 but somehow it sounds like it belongs with the early 2000s power pop movement.

It definitely belongs more in the early 00s back when this type of arena piano rock was popular, with bands like Keane and U2 pouring out hits too.

I also want to mention that this 2006 Rihanna song was a bit ahead of its time and sounds more like it belongs in 2008.

Nina Cherry Manchild - 1989 Feels like the song could have been released at anytime between 1993-1997.

I'm not so sure this song belongs in 2010. It feels more like a 2008 song. Does anyone have that feeling? I'm not so sure.

This hip-hop song came out in 2013 and was popular in 2014, yet it sounds like it could've been released in the late 2010's. It's quite sad how this rapper died.

This 2014 song sounds like more like those 2000s soft rock ballads:

I know this technically wouldn't count, but it sounds so quintessentially mid-1960s it's odd to think that the first season of Scooby-Doo aired mostly in 1970 with this intro when mainstream pop rock already had moved on well past this cheery, simplistic British Invasion-type of stuff towards more much complex arrangements instead: In comparison the 2000s incarnation actually sounds much more of its time (sung by the band Simple Plan!):
