2018 has been one of the best years for music this decade in my opinion. It's up there with 2010 and 2011 and people who know me from inthe00s knows how high esteem I hold those years.

What in the world is with all the 2018 hate? Is it just because the worst songs of this year are still fresh in people's minds? No. Because 2018 is truly a horrible year for mainstream music and 5-10 actually good songs aren't enough to save it. Sorry.

2018 and 2016. Both years had empty, slow songs that would only appeal to 12 year olds.
And probably 2014.

I guess 2010, 2012, and 2017 are the best years for music this decade so far, according to the poll results so far.

While there are a ton of crap songs in 2018, I suppose its not as bad as I was making it out to be. Its just one of those years where the bad songs are really bad. I would instead rank 2014 as the worst this decade because of the very few songs released that year that I actually enjoyed in comparison to this year:

Probably 2017. The two years surrounding it are very close contenders.
