If you could only have one home console, for the rest of your life, without a gaming PC, which would it be? Personally, I'd choose the Wii U, which I already have. The reason is, I'd be able to play all my physical Wii & Wii U games, and get the Homebrew Channel on it to play ROMs of older games

I would choose the Playstation 4, namely because of it's gameplay recording functionality and excellent graphics.

Can the Wii U run PS2 games? There's PS1 emulators, but not PS2 emulators, at least not yet. Then I'd take those backward compatible PS3s.

smartboi Just out of curiosity, why would you pick the Nintendo Gamecube? Seems like an interesting choice! I just love the console's library of games. I think they have tons of replay value. Plus I could buy an add-on for it that would let me play any type of gameboy game on my television.

Why not the PS2? The PS2 can play both PS2 and PS1 games!!

Are we allowed to pick handhelds? Because I'd change my answer to 3DS. I prefer handheld gaming and the DS is my favourite system, and the 3DS is backwards compatible with it (although with poorer battery life).
