If you were driving along and saw someone standing on the side of the road wanting to catch a ride, would you pull over and give them a lift or would you just keep on driving?
I have been legally able to drive by myself since May 2016 and I have never stopped to pick up a hitchhiker. Mind you, hitchhikers are quite rare now anyway, so it's not as if you see too many people wanting someone to pull over and give them a lift. I have no intentions on ever picking up a hitchhiker.

Not really applicable since I don't drive. But if I did, I wouldn't. Too risky. Although since my vehicle of choice would be a motorbike, I don't see it happening.

It's interesting to hear that hitchhiking is illegal in North America. It's still legal here, although it's very rare to see anyone wanting to hitchhike.

No. To be fair, even though the chances of you actually picking up some rapist or serial killer is almost zero, I still wouldn't risk it.

This is literally the first response that popped into my head when I read the title of this thread.

I'm that ugly, I can't really afford to be fussy. 3. Can you now please pick on smartboi, if only for the way he spells boy

Sincere apologies, Paul. Or should that be a-paul-ogies?
Smartboi, you are just as bad for thinking along similar lines!
Paul, you're too modest, sir. I bet you really look like Tomas Ledin.

No. To be fair, even though the chances of you actually picking up some rapist or serial killer is almost zero, I still wouldn't risk it. My uncle died this way, so there is still definitely a chance. You're actually in the most danger when you yourself are the hitchhiker. My answer is therefore a pretty obvious "no".
