Popedia MapI've seen this feature on other websites before and I thought it might be an interesting addition to Popedia. It's a custom Google Map and you can place a marker on a map to show your location (not exact location) to other members. You can only place one marker and it is not possible to remove other markers. You don't have to place a marker on your exact location. For instance, I placed a marker on the Wollongong CBD, even though I don't live in the Wollongong CBD itself. Another example could be someone who places a marker on Downtown New York, even though they may actually live in an entirely different suburb.

I just put a random spot in New Jersey lol Haha. I can't exactly do that with the state I live in, because New South Wales is three times the size of the UK.

Done it, sort of. Placed it on my birthplace although I haven't lived there since the age of 8 in 196whenever.

I feel wicked dumb but like....how do I place a pin? Once you get to the map, find your location and click the pin on top of your screen. Then click on your location and add your username.
