Witcher Netflix series

The Witcher game series is coming to Netflix as a show some time in the next couple years. They're already looking for the cast.  I'm debating subscribing to Netflix for that alone. Think it will be any good? It will have much to live up to. Films based on games in the past have fallen short so fingers crossed.
