Today marks 12 years since the day when the world changed forever and things were never the same: September 1st, 2006.
First, let me just start off by saying that I can't believe it's already been 12 years. Time flies by so fast. I still remember exactly where I was when the shift happened. I remember everyone crying and a war started going on and everyone was no longer happy and playing outside. I remember when TV Shows, music, fashion, and technology absolutely went downhill and others have noticed it immediately. Not just that, but every single thing you can imagine in the world, universe, and on the planet earth started to suck on that specific day. Nobody could jump really high anymore because gravity got stronger that day. Even kids stopped playing outside and were immediately glued to their smartphones.
This is a very tragic event in history and I think we should have a moment of silence for those who will never get to experience the times before the infamous late 2006 shift.

The world has truly never been the same since. Apparently the shift repeats itself every chinese zodiac period, so today the world is shifting completely to the worst... Again

The world has truly never been the same since. Apparently the shift repeats itself every chinese zodiac period, so today the world is shifting completely to the worst... Again Actually, this is kind of true - the Chinese zodiac does seem to repeat itself, especially in recent history. 1979: "Video Killed the Radio Star" ushers in the age of 80's music 1991: "Smells Like Teen Spirit" ushers in the age of 90's music 1981: The president of the 80's has his inauguration 1993: The president of the 90's has his inauguration 1987: The absolute start of The Simpsons (as shorts on The Tracy Ullman Show) 1999: The absolute start of Family Guy 1987: Glam metal was at its peak 1999: Teen pop was at its peak 1988: The start of the 90's sitcom age (Roseanne, Murphy Brown) 2000: The start of the reality TV age (Survivor, Big Brother) 1988-1990: The pre-grunge period 2000-2002: The pre-emo period 1989: George HW Bush becomes president 2001: George W. Bush becomes president 1989: The Berlin Wall fall changed politics forever 2001: 9/11 changed politics forever 1993-1994: The peak of grunge 2005-2006: The peak of emo 1994: PlayStation 1 is released. 2006: Wii is released. 1995: The start of the Internet 2007: The start of the iPhone 2000: Y2K 2012: 12/21/12 Mayan Calendar Apocalypse 2000: PlayStation 2 is released. 2012: Wii U is released.

I have written evidence from the day that changed the world forever. Im gonna go through and look in my Year 2 book now hahah. During year 2 we would have to write short stories about what we had been doing during the week, and of course being an active member of inthe00s and Popedia, I need to give myself some closure and find out what I was really doing when the world changed for good.

Haha. In that case, you should be able to find something from the most devastating day in history.

This late 06' shift is so stupid it hurts. Even if it's a joke it still isn't funny.
More like 2008 shift.

I would say these are the shifts (major ones in red, minor ones in black) 1988 1991/19921995 19971999 20012004 20082012/2013 2016I'm not sure if you'd agree, but these are the minor and major "modern shifts" in my opinion.
