I'm upset for two major reasons. Number one, modern feminism has an extreme stigma against women who opt to present traditionally femininely, as if they're just being pawns of the patriarchy and not being their true selves. BOTH genders can have individuals who are submissive, it shouldn't be scolded if it's who you are. I for one love wearing dresses and fantasize myself as a princess, even though I still have the brains to see past the shackles of the system.
The second thing that I hate about modern feminism is how much it has erased middle ground. Anybody who thinks the austerity of cultural feminism goes too far is usually labeled as an alt-right-sympathizing bigot, or somebody brainwashed to uphold the oppression. Can't anybody realize that at least part of the problem is not just the existence of misogynists in power, but also the perpetual vulnerability to their douchebag ways?

Feminine doesn't equal submissive though, and it's problematic for anyone who thinks it should. And every movement these days pretty much erased the middle ground. That's why I don't jump on board with any of them, I always find myself disagreeing with something. This militant thinking of "if you're not with us, you're against us" costs them any potential allies, let alone the laundry list of rules they come up with for being a cis male ally.

I think the issue is that there’s a difference between willfully serving others and being forced into it, just as there’s a distinction between having authority over your actions and being burdened with the responsibility that comes with great power. I personally don’t see myself as a domineering force in collective situations, but I can be a leader in other specific categories.Yep, they hypocritically fight for freedom by doing everything they can to restrict freedom. The worst part is that they are never self aware about it. I’m so glad I decided to stop worrying about how I fit in with the zeitgeist of the present, or else I’d never find genuine happiness.

I'm probably repeating myself, but I'll never understand how the same people who will tell you gender is a social construct will also use notions of gender to suit their narrative.
I guess my own opinion is that personality traits are just that. Few people are extreme examples of being dominant or submissive, though many tend towards one or the other depending on the situation. But outside historical ideals, it doesn't make it related to gender. Just like art is art, science is science, colors are colors, etc. Even clothing is only a product of the time we're living in, beyond a few accommodations necessary for differing bodies.
If I had to associate the ideas of masculine and feminine with anything, I would see them as "hard" and "soft". But I still wouldn't necessarily assign either to men or women as a whole.

God I get so sick of seeing toxic feminism propaganda in the media. I'm not sure if anyone else has closely followed this news story or not, but a Ohio radio station has banned the Christmas cult-classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside" due to it's "problematic" and "rapist" lyrics. The song/video is below in case you're interested: There's nothing wrong with it! The song was written in 1944 and the movie scene above was filmed in 1949. It's an absolute joke that people are so "offended" by it. If it's so bad, why weren't people complaining about it years ago? Oh wait, I know why, they had to wait until a stupid hashtag trend (the "#metoo" movement) became popular. It's a movement that is supposed to stand for justice, but instead, it's a platform for toxic SJWs to spread more of their political propaganda. Besides, why is this deemed as not being acceptable, yet sexually explicit hip-hop songs are considered ok?

Yep. At this rate, there will soon be calls to change the word "woman" to something else, because it has the word "man" in it and it somehow suppresses female empowerment.

FFS, if you're put off joining the fire brigade just because of the name of a children's program, you don't deserve to hold any job position. I honestly hate the world we're living in. Everyone has to take offence at something.

Everyone has to take offence at something. My exact thoughts. Does that mean it should be a postperson now instead of postman? Oh wait, I’ve already heard this one before. The world we live in these days aye...
