Weather here in Fredericksburg VA is dipping to the 70s. The days are starting to get shorter. Finally.... I've been waiting for this. Fall is slowly making its way. Can't wait to wear hoodies and spend the chilly nights under the blankets near a fireplace. It's almost that time of year again.

Yesterday last night it was really dark out and I checked the time only to find out it was only like 7:50 PM. It was dark as if it was already 9:00 PM. Usually at 7:50 PM in the summer it's just starting to get dark but it was already dark by that time. The days really are starting to get shorter here in New Jersey as well and I honestly can't wait for Thanksgiving. I need to fix my sleeping schedule.

I'm jealous about all of you entering Autumn.  Here in Australia, we have just entered Spring, which means that the temperatures are gradually going to get hotter.

I love to sit with hot chocolate or tea under a blanket watching movies or reading something on Reddit. The leaves are starting to change and half the corn is already gone from the farms I pass by.

While all of you are experiencing the joys of Autumn, my location is expected to reach a maximum temperature of 31C (87F) in a few hours time.  I don't like warm weather. Maybe I should travel over to the US so I can avoid the heat.

Fall weather has come. FINALLY! Temperature's here in Fredericksburg have dropped to the 50s. Time to drink hot chocolate and watch Netflix tonight.

I love fall fashion! There are so many ways you can wear a coat, a scarf, a sweater and a good pair of boots. And they way they match all the colourful trees is really elegant.

October here is warmer than late-August was  Summer weather + the beautiful Autumn colors is a fantastic mix!

October here is warmer than late-August was Summer weather + the beautiful Autumn colors is a fantastic mix! I went to the UK in late August/early September and it was really cold (given that it was summer)! Now I'm hearing it's an almost consistent 20c everyday.

Aaww, you guys are making me jealous, I wish we had autumn and winter. I've never been to a real fireplace and it sounds nice to sit wrapped up around there. The first time I saw snow was earlier this year when I was overseas for work, it was only very light snowfall though and it vanished soon after we got out to see it
I also love having cold drinks in cold weather (that I have tried ) because it stays cold for longer instead of here, where all the ice melts before I'm half done...
Well, I can say that it is getting cooler here slightly, it's at least not as hot as June/July.
