Aaww, you guys are making me jealous, I wish we had autumn and winter. I've never been to a real fireplace and it sounds nice to sit wrapped up around there. The first time I saw snow was earlier this year when I was overseas for work, it was only very light snowfall though and it vanished soon after we got out to see it 
I also love having cold drinks in cold weather (that I have tried  ) because it stays cold for longer instead of here, where all the ice melts before I'm half done...
Well, I can say that it is getting cooler here slightly, it's at least not as hot as June/July. Ice cream in the winter is the world's best kept secret. You can go on a long walk and it still won't melt. You get to really savour it!
