This is a pretty random idea for a thread, but I got the idea for it after seeing a segment on the TV show I am watching. How often do you drink water? Do you drink it regularly or hardly ever? As for myself, I drink water several times a day. It's the healthiest way to stay hydrated and I don't mind having a glass of water anyway. There are people out there though who very rarely drink water. I had a friend in High School who never drank water, at all. Whenever he took a water bottle to school with him, it would only ever be filled up with Gatorade or cordial. He couldn't even remember the last time he had a glass of water.

About 2-4 litres a day in the summer. Maybe half that in winter.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me. I honestly don't know how anyone could survive without ever drinking water. My friend's excuse was that he thinks water tastes horrible, but that's pretty much a cop-out.

Damn, I wonder what was in his water tap. Haha, who knows, but his way of thinking is strange enough as it is. For instance, he hates cheese and he refuses to eat anything with cheese on it, but whenever he orders a pizza, cheese is his favourite pizza topping. Go figure.

My friend's excuse was that he thinks water tastes horrible, but that's pretty much a cop-out. I haven't really been in the Illawarra long enough to know what the tap water is like there, I just assumed the quality would be fairly similar (or perhaps slightly better) to what is here in Sydney.

It would be similar. In fact, Southern Sydney and the northern suburbs of the Illawarra get their water sourced from Woronora and Cataract Dams. I think my friend just used it as an excuse to justify why he doesn't drink water.

I have had to drink tap water from basically every state, and without doubt we easily have the best tasting water (unsurprisingly ). There is just something about NSW tap water I really dislike, and I would even put Victoria above it.

That's something I have even taken notice of when I've gone down to Tasmania on holidays.
